Crafter Wagon

Handbook description

Converts raw materials to track pieces.

Strategy

Players should prioritize upgrading this wagon. At the start of the game, the crafter is the main bottleneck to track production. Players will have plenty of resources in storage and you will be waiting for the crafter to produce tracks. Upgrading the crafter wagon allows you to produce tracks faster to make use of all the resources you produce. When you feel that the crafter is too slow, it is a good time to look for the Blacksmith Station.

Extension effects

The Crafter Wagon starts with the   storage pull extension which automatically pulls resources into the crafter wagon from the Storage Wagon. While it is possible to remove the   storage pull extension from the wagon at a Blacksmith Station, it is not recommended. For the remaining two extensions on the crafter, having 2   Hydrocharge extensions is extremely good as a hydrocharged crafter will not use water unless the crafter is in use, but with crafting speeds so low (0.5s or less at higher levels), the crafter will use barely any water. If you cannot find   hydrocharge, the   supercharge and   speed-boost extensions are also useful extensions to have.
