You can bet your well-earned bolts for a chance to slow down your train or to win a cartridge at a slot machine station.

Additional info

There are two slot machines at this station. To activate the slot machine, all players must stand on the platform at the same time.

The cost of each roll is 4 (discounted stations cost 3) and a reward is guaranteed after 4 rolls. Once a reward is given, the slot machine is deactivated.

Wining at the machine can give everyone a random cartridge or earn you an extra live. Note that the nether cartridge cannot be obtained here.

Wining at the machine can slow the train down by a small amount (about the speed increase of 1 station but it can be way less than that on high speed). There is a very small probability you can get an extra life for the train. You cannot get another extra life for the train if you already have one. If you have an extra life when your train crashes, the game reloads at the previous station as if you did not die and the extra life is consumed. The number of extra lives you have is shown at the top next to the train speed. If you die with an extra life, going into the same level will give you the same map generation as the level you died on, allowing you to plan ahead.
