The Crafter starts at level 2 with a Wagon Speed Extension already installed.
Stations
All Stations are Crates and have 1 Level Up Crate and either a Wagon, a Extension or a Cartridge. What you get from Crates is based on a Cycle, the 1st is a Wagon, the 2nd is a Extension and the 3rd is a Cartridge
